Dogtrot in Dennis Cove

About
Dogtrot in Dennis Cove: your basecamp for adventure! Steps away from the Appalachian Trail, this refuge is bordered by Cherokee National Forest and Laurel Fork Creek. On property activities include a wood fired hot tub, creek access for fishing / swimming, hiking, stargazing (no light pollution here) and of course, ping pong. With a picnic and hammock area by the creek, outdoor pavilion with a large fireplace, and no TV, you are finally able to spend some quality outdoor time with your family!
Good to know
This cozy cottage is big on outdoors but can still sleep up to 3 families. The house is best described as a modern dogtrot. The main part of the home contains the living/kitchen/dining area, master bedroom with king bed an en suite bathroom, lofted bunk room, full guest bath, and laundry closet. This part of the house is connected to the secondary part of the home via the “dogtrot” or screened-in porch (complete with ping pong table). The secondary part of the home includes 2 bedrooms, both with queen beds, which share a Jack and Jill bathroom. The property also boasts an immaculate timber frame pavilion complete with a massive wood-burning fireplace. We have also just installed a wood-fired hot tub and wood-fired sauna! Laurel Fork Creek borders the front edge of the parcel and is every kid’s favorite place to splash an afternoon away. Additionally, there are only 5 houses on this dead-end street with only one of those being lived in full-time so there is virtually no traffic.
